How to Do: Orange
July 31, 2018Orange is not a common color in the home, but that should change. There are many beautiful hues of orange, and when done properly, the hue is warm addition to your home.
Burnt Orange: The warmest and the easiest of the orange family, a burnt orange is a great accent to brown and ivory.
Tangerine: A pale tangerine can be another soothing, warm option to this otherwise bright family. It’s the perfect option for bedrooms, kitchens, dining rooms, really any room!
Reddish Orange: This shade is bright and powerful and makes a fun statement. It’s great with neutrals, or for a more playful look, add accents of turquoise. It’s the perfect accent wall, kitchen, or powder room color.
Apricot: Almost yellow, but nonetheless warm, inviting, and perfect for any space. Try it in hallways, bedrooms, and kitchens with rustic elements.
Bright Orange: Only for the bold, this bright hue is perfect in airy spaces with light colors as a contrast.
