Steve MacMeeken

Steve MacMeeken owns and operates the Plano/Allen/McKinney and North Dallas/Richardson Southern Painting franchises. He recently expanded his Southern Painting role as the Area Director for the Frisco/Prosper/Celina, Texas franchise.

With more than 25 years of hands-on experience as a tradesman, Steve joined Southern Painting in 1993 and, by 2000, owned one of the first Southern Painting offices in Texas. Working alongside his brother, Dave, Steve plans on employing his proven methods of business success to help expand the Frisco/Prosper/Celina area.

As a franchise owner, Steve knows that Southern Painting’s success depends on integrity and customer service, which he has made the cornerstones of his business model.  Steve has worked diligently to develop his business to become the largest residential repaint office for Southern Painting in                                                                                          the DFW area.

Steve moved to Collin County in 1981 and before long, met and married Robyn, and started their family. He has spent his life creating business opportunities for many people, but most importantly, creating an environment that has allowed one of his sons and two of his brothers to join the family of Southern Painting.  As a true, family-operated business, Steve takes immense pride in serving his customers while continuing to successfully brand the Southern Painting family.

Alan Laurino

Regional Territory Manager

Alan Laurino is the Regional Territory Manager for Southern Painting in West Plano.  Born and raised in New York, Alan moved to Texas to join Southern Painting and has been with the Plano/Allen/McKinney division since 2004. His knowledge of what it takes to provide outstanding customer service, along with his business experience, have helped the Plano/Allen/McKinney office become the #1 Southern Painting region in Texas.

Alan understands the concept of getting the job done through a team effort.  Hard work and a dedication to customer satisfaction is the work ethic that Alan brings to the Southern Painting family.  Alan is a Godly man who loves gardening and spending time with his wife, their children, and grandchildren.

Miguel Chavez

Sales Manager

Miguel Chavez joined the Plano/Allen/McKinney Southern Painting team in mid-2016.  Miguel was born in Plano where he still happily resides.  After graduating from Plano East Senior High School, Miguel worked several full-time jobs while also pursuing his education.  Along the journey, Miguel used to say, “I don’t know where I am going, but I know where I want to be!”  The place to be is Southern Painting where his many years of customer service experience and his professional goals have made him the perfect fit as a Sales Manager.  Miguel likes evaluating a problem and bringing a solution that results in Southern Painting’s customers being the most satisfied customers in the world.
