Owner Tampa/Hillsborough North 

Rick MacMeeken is the owner of the Tampa/Hillsborough Franchise in Florida.

As a native of Florida, Rick grew up in Seminole where he was a celebrated wrestling champion in high school. After high school, he quickly rose to management in the grocery store industry cultivating and developing the foundation of his strong work ethic – “do the job right and build customer satisfaction”. Twenty years later, Rick capitalized on his professional experience becoming the owner of a successful commercial landscape business.

Never one to turn away from a new and challenging opportunity, Rick accepted an invitation from his older brother in Texas, Steve, to join the family business encouraging him to become a franchise owner and expand the name, brand and painting services of Southern Painting into Tampa, Florida.

With the support of his wife and children, Rick brings his years of success to a new venture in his life and looks forward to blazing a new path with his entrepreneurship, skill and dedication to you, the customer.

Steve MacMeeken owns the Collin County and North Dallas Southern Painting franchises, and recently expanded his role as the Area Director for the Southern Painting office in the Tampa area of Florida.

With more than 25 years of hands-on experience as a tradesman, Steve joined Southern Painting in 1993 and by 2000 owned one of the first Southern Painting offices in Texas. Working alongside his brother, Rick, Steve plans on employing his proven methods of business success to help launch Southern Painting into the Florida market.

As a franchise owner, Steve knows that Southern Painting’s success depends upon integrity and customer service, which he has made the cornerstones of his business model. Steve has worked diligently to develop his business to become the largest residential repaint office for Southern Painting in the DFW area.

Steve moved to Collin County in 1981 and before long, met and married Robyn and started their family. He has spent his life creating business opportunities for many people, but most importantly, created an environment that has allowed his two sons and two of his brothers to join the family of Southern Painting. As a true, family-operated business, Steve takes immense pride in serving his customers while continuing to successfully brand the Southern Painting family.
